Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Laravel Developer at GIRAF in Kozhikode. The Laravel Developer will be responsible for back-end web development, object-oriented programming (OOP), front-end development, software development, and programming tasks. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a website and web applications using PHP, Laravel, and Mysql Write clean, well-documented code adhering to industry best practices Build and manage transactional Saa S applications with Laravel Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, notifications, apis Optimise websites for performance, speed, and scalability Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and security vulnerabilities Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends Work collaboratively within a small, agile team Key Requirements: 9 + years of commercial experience developing PHP solutions Strong Laravel experience (minimum 3 years) Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and MVC frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, Code Igniter) Solid knowledge of SQL databases (My SQL) Strong front-end development skills: HTML, CSS, Java Script, Bootstrap/Zurb Foundation Experience with My SQL, APIs, and cloud-based environments (AWS) Familiarity with version control tools such as Git. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and maintain complex systems Customer-centric mindset with strong collaboration skills An understanding of automated testing and deployment Experience working with high-traffic websites that serve thousands of users An absolute self-starter who wants to take ownership of a project
