Job Summary/Objective:
Be the first line of contact for new prospects. Generate sales either by following up on prospects or leads generated via marketing campaigns - including cold calling in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for influencing existing or potential customers to buy products or services.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Cold call people using a given phone directory to sell products
Run email campaigns using software tools, email lists, and email content provided.
Answer incoming calls from prospects
Use scripts to provide information about product’s features, prices etc. and present their
benefits
Ask pertinent questions to understand the sales requirements
Persuade the customer to buy by demonstrating how the product meet their needs
Record the lead’s personal information accurately in CRM software and keep records of total number of calls made, emails sent, contacts made, etc.
Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
Skills/Attributes required:
Proven experience as telemarketer or similar sales role
Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone
Working knowledge of CRM software such as HubSpot, email software such as MailChimp, and telephone systems
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficient in English
Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints
Persistent and results-oriented
Qualifications/Experience required:
Graduate or Equivalent
3 to 4 years experience in BPO/Sales -Preferably US based process
