Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Engineer to manage and optimize core IT systems, infrastructure, and services. You will ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations across the organization, including system uptime, monitoring, backups, and patch management.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor IT infrastructure, servers, and services using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Datadog.
• Perform regular system maintenance, upgrades, and patching.
• Manage Windows and Linux server environments, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and storage systems.
• Handle user provisioning, security policies, and network configurations.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software procurement and support.
• Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and asset records.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and system backups.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 2+ years in IT operations, system administration, or infrastructure roles.
• Solid understanding of Windows/Linux administration, networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN), and cloud basics.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, group policies, and scripting (PowerShell or Bash).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications like Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, RHCSA, or VMware VCP.
• Experience in hybrid cloud/on-premise infrastructure management.
