Key Responsibilities
- Product Demonstrations & Client Engagement
- Conduct live product demonstrations of Edship's school management software to school principals, administrators, and decision-makers
- Visit schools and colleges across assigned territories to showcase our ERP platform's features and benefits
- Present compelling product presentations highlighting AI-powered features, GPS tracking, fee management, and automation capabilities
- Handle Q&A sessions confidently and address client concerns with product knowledge
Sales & Lead Generation
Generate qualified leads through field visits, networking events, and educational seminars
Follow up with prospects via calls, emails, and in-person meetings to move them through the sales funnel
Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to team revenue goals
Maintain accurate records of all interactions, demos, and opportunities in CRM systems
Market Research & Relationship Building
Identify potential clients including CBSE schools, state board institutions, and international schools
Build long-term relationships with school administrators, trustees, and education consultants
Gather market intelligence on competitor offerings, pricing, and school pain points
Attend education expos, conferences, and networking events to represent Edship
Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies
Provide feedback from the field to improve product features and marketing messaging
Submit daily/weekly activity reports and sales forecasts
Participate in training sessions to stay updated on product enhancements
Qualifications & Skills
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field
MBA or relevant certifications (preferred but not mandatory)
Experience
0-2 year of experience in sales, marketing, business development, or customer-facing roles
Candidates with strong communication skills are highly encouraged to apply
Internship or campus ambassador experience in sales/marketing is a plus
Knowledge of EdTech or SaaS industry is advantageous but not required

Job Location & Travel
Primary Location: Kerala (Kochi, Kottayam, Trivandrum, and surrounding districts)
Travel Requirement: 60-80% field-based work visiting schools and colleges
Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday
