Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with editorial and business goals.
- Manage content creation, scheduling, and optimization across platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Foster audience engagement through active interactions and timely responses.
- Plan and implement social media campaigns to expand audience reach and website traffic.
- Track, analyze, and report social media performance, offering actionable insights.
- Stay updated on social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related fields.
- Proven experience in social media management, ideally in news/media organizations.
- Proficiency in social media and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics).
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
- English and Hindi is a must
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with video creation, live streaming, SEO, and paid social media strategies.
- Ability to design creatives using tools like Photoshop/Canva.
- Knowledge of live-streaming software like OBS/Vmix.
- Strong interest and understanding of regional and national news.
